Our practice provides five star service, and we offer convenient options to assist our patients with paying or financing their dental services.
1. Cash
2. Checks
3. Credit Cards
4. Money orders
5. Insurance (most accepted)
6. Payment options:
a. Our office uses an outside financing source for Dental Payment Plans
b. Please inform us if you need a payment plan application
When payment is made by cash, check, or money order for the entire amount due at that appointment, our office will offer you a courtesy adjustment of 5%. If you pay by credit card our office will offer you a 3% courtesy adjustment for paying in full the amount due at that appointment. However, this does not apply to discounted insurance plans.
If you have insurance and use insurance as a method of payment the courtesy adjustment does not apply unless you pay the entire amount due at that appointment. We will then complete your insurance form and mail it for you and you will receive reimbursement from the insurance company.
If you have insurance and want us to accept your insurance as part of your payment, we can help. Depending on your insurance plan and coverage (all plans are different and all coverages are different), there usually is an estimated yearly deductible amount and a estimated co-payment amount. Again each insurance plan is different and each type of coverage is different as to estimated deductible and co-payments. In order for us to provide information to your insurance carrier we request that you sign the 'Signature on File' form each year. Also, we request that we have your credit card information on file so that after the insurance carrier pays their portion we can charge your credit card the amount due for your dental services.
When we accept your insurance coverage initially as partial payment, our office is extending you credit for a short period of time. We allow your insurance carrier up to six weeks to pay your portion to us. The patient or parent of the patient is still responsible for the entire fee, even the insured portion, when the insurance carrier does not pay. Any unpaid dental bill will be accessed a $10.00 late fee per month.
Since we have eliminated sending monthly statements, for your convenience, our office requests that we keep your credit card information on file or pre-authorize your bank checking account which will allow us to process the unpaid balance after the insurance payment has been received (if 6 weeks or less). If your insurance carrier delays payment for more than 6 weeks then we will charge your account for the entire amount due. When the insurance pays, we will send you the insurance check.
We have eliminated billing in order to keep our costs down.
Our office works with several companies anxious to handle your financing needs for payment plans over $300.00. You can finance up to $1,000.00 for 12 months at no interest to you!
